Author's Note:
I'd like to thank my BETA reader, FoRgEy for being awesome and giving me great advice for this story!

I was in the middle of the dungeon, watching a pale, skinny boy being pressured into murder.

"Do it," the Dark Lord hissed into my ear. "Do it quickly!"

The boy's parents urged him on.

"It's for her own good..."

"... if you don't want us to end up in Azkaban."

The girl watched nervously as the Dark Lord placed a wand in the pale boy's hand.

"Don't do it," I cried, trying to jump in front of the girl, but all I could do was watch helplessly. Even the girl's parents watched, yet they did nothing. They looked at her with disgust, disappointment, knowing that she tried to help Potter.

"I love you," he said quietly so only the girl could hear. The girl's dark brown eyes widened fearfully, watching him.

Before I could stop anything, the curse was muttered. "Avada Kedavera," the blonde boy whispered tearfully, pointing the wand at the girl. There was a flash of blinding green light, there was a scream and the girl's body crumpled to the floor; dead. Her black hair covered her screaming face.

Looking at the body set me off. I yelled and pounced at the boy; making a grab at his throat, shaking him back and forth. If he really did love her, he wouldn't have killed her.

If he really did love her, she would still be looking at the boy. If he really did love her... she would simply be alive.

Nobody in the room bothered to help the boy as I realized that I was strangling myself.

~~~
I woke up in a cold sweat. I caught the sound of heavy rain falling on the Malfoy Mansion. I inhaled the chilly air of my room and sat up, my grey eyes twitching.
I had been having that dream for the past three months.
I looked at my pale, shaking hands and tried my best to warm them.
I snapped at the nearest house elf, Chester.
"You! Robe! NOW!"
Chester squeaked and fetched my black, warm robe.
I remembered that there was only two weeks until my sixth year at Hogwarts starts and I knew that rumors about Charlotte's murder and Voldemort had already started. Potter was just lucky Charlotte was there to save his ass. No matter how undercover you try to keep things; it'll get out one way or another. Kids at school were probably talking about me already. I was expecting the worst.
I know I'm home by myself today because all the house elves seem calm. Father was probably taking mother out jewelry shopping again. I was alone.
I stuffed my hands into the pockets and stood up. I opened the dark drapes to see what was going on outside.
Nothing but the rain and grey skies were there. The graveyard caught my eye. It was tucked away behind all the gardens and roses mother had the house elves plant. The garden maze filled more than half of the whole garden. Then, a certain tombstone came to my attention.
It was a dragon; one of the only dragons in the graveyard. The gold was withering away into pale bullion. I knew it's her grave because of that. I scowled and quickly shut the drapes shut. It just reminded me how alone I am.
I decided it was time to go downstairs and mooch around the lounge since there was nothing to do. I walked down the curvy staircase and corridors. The whole house was dark, cold and quiet. The only thing I could hear was the rain pounding on the roof.
I finally made it down to the sitting room and made myself comfortable in the black leather couch. Knowing exactly what to do, the house elf light a fire in the fireplace.
I was feeling drowsy and lightheaded that day as I watched the green flames seductively throwing itself at the logs. I gazed up at the family portrait hanging above the fireplace.
I studied my mother's delicate features and my father's bold ones. I realized that we hadn't gotten another family portrait in the last seven years. I was nine when we had that picture taken, and I was nine when I had first met Charlotte Chang.
Author notes: Por favor, no flames. Suggestions would be great; just no: "This was stupid", "useless", "...utter crap..." and such like that. Thank you once again to FoRgEy!!
