Chapter 1

***************

"Goyle, I dare you to go fuck that table," said Ron Weasley.

Goyle grunted but got up and proceeded to fuck the table. "OK. Now it's my turn. Draco, you have to kiss the next girl to walk into the room."

"Fine, but there aren't any right now, so it's my turn. Potter, I dare you to..." Draco never got to finish his sentence. Hermione Granger had just walked in, not knowing that she was about to become part of a dare.

Draco got up, walked across the room and proceeded to snog her. When he had finished, she rushed out, flushing as bright as Ron's hair.

"I'm going to KILL you, Malfoy!" yelled a very jealous Ron.

"What did I do Weasley? I was just fulfilling my dare," Draco said in an innocent tone. Everyone in the room had looks of awe on their faces.

"Enough of these dumb games, I'm going to bed," he declared hastily.

Back in his room, Draco was thinking about that kiss. He couldn't get it out of his head, or her for that matter! Was I imagining things, or was she kissing me back?

He fell asleep thinking about Hermione. His dreams consisted only of her face and the sun reflecting on her beautiful skin. When he woke up the next morning he was still thinking about her.

Why did I do that? Now I feel so stupid. Oh my God! I just realized. I kissed a Mudblood! What will Father do to me when he finds out what I've done?

But something inside of him was stirring. He felt a new emotion rise within him. All of a sudden, he didn't give a shit what his Father thought; all he could think about was Hermione, and that's all that mattered.

During Potions, Draco kept looking over at her. Pansy kept bothering him, so he put a Silencing Charm on her so that she couldn't take him away from looking at Hermione.

Once, they made eye contact. Hermione blushed and turned her back to him. Draco had a strong urge to go over and kiss her again.

Before he could even think more about it, the bell rang. By the he had cleaned up and put all of his materials away, Hermione was already gone.

The next time he saw her was at dinner. Never in his entire life had he felt so much about one person, a person he shouldn't even be feeling anything for in the first place.

***************

It's been a month since that damn game. If everyone thinks I'm so bad, then why don't I feel that way? I can't just go up and kiss her again. Maybe I can ask her out. The next Hogsmeade weekend is coming up. No, I don't have enough nerve to do something like that.

Draco was sitting at his usual table in the library. And then, she walked in.

I've to do it now. I'm just going to ask her.

He got up from his seat and walked over to her.

"Hermione, um... Would you...?" Draco stuttered.

Hermione looked up at him over the large tomb that she was reading. "Would I what, Draco?" she asked skeptically.

He looked at the floor shyly. "Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me?"

Hermione's eyebrows shot up. "Are you asking me out on a date?" she asked in an interested tone.

He snapped his head up in surprise. "Um--yes I am. Would you like to?"

She seemed to ponder over this for a few minutes. Draco didn't have much more patience, he couldn't wait much longer.

"Draco, I will go on one date with you on one condition," she said in a haughty tone. "You will NOT try to get into my pants. You got that?"

He nodded. "I understand. I'll meet you in the Great Hall," Draco said and with a swish of his cloak, he left the room.

***************

After what seemed like an eternity, the Hogsmeade weekend came. As planned, they met in the Great Hall. After they got through the line of students, Draco took hold of Hermione's hand. She just turned to him and smiled.

When they got into Hogsmeade, they decided to getting a Butterbeer first. After Madam Rosmerta took their order, which Draco was paying for, Hermione started a conversation.

"So, what should we do today, Draco?" she asked looking out the window at the shops across the street.

He looked down at her with a smile. "I don't really care what we do, Hermione. I just want to be with you," he said charmingly.

Hermione looked up at him with a shy grin. "Oh Draco. That's very sweet."

Their Butterbeer was then delivered.

Neither of them spoke as they sat there sipping their drinks idly. Soon, both had finished and sat in a very awkward silence for a few second. Draco had no idea what to do.

He went to pay for their drinks up at the cash register. When he got back to the table, Hermione was already putting on her cloak. She looked up at him. "Draco, I want to show you something," she said finishing the top button of her cloak. "Just follow me."

He pulled on his cloak hastily, because Hermione was already halfway to the door, and followed her out.

Hermione took him to a little pond apart from the town that she had discovered on a previous trip to Hogsmeade.

Draco found himself thinking that life couldn't get any better, but it did.

Hermione couldn't help herself anymore. She had to kiss him. So, she did. Hermione couldn't help thinking that she was so lucky, and Draco was thinking the same exact thing about her.

They both resisted the temptations to have sex. After a very bliss-filled afternoon, Draco and Hermione returned to the castle wrapped up in each other's cloaks.

Their good-bye kiss was so sensual that they both moaned, Hermione pushed away first.

"We should stop for today," she said breathlessly.

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow in Double Potions, Love," Draco said disappointedly.

Hermione smiled. "I can't wait," she said giving him one last peck on the lips and retreated back to the castle.

***************

The next day in Potions, Draco and Hermione kept glancing at each other and making goofy faces.

After Potions, it was Care of Magical Creatures. At least in this class they could talk to each other without other people interrupting them.

Draco leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Can we meet somewhere tonight? I have something I need to tell you."

She turned her head and looked at him, wondering what he had to tell her. "OK," she said slowly. "I'll meet you after dinner in the Library."

He smiled a bit. "All right. I'll meet you there, Hermione."

For Hermione, her afternoon classes seemed long and boring for once. She just couldn't wait to meet Draco in the Library.

When the final bell rang, she ran up to her dormitory and dropped off her bag. She then hurried down to dinner. When the food appeared, Hermione began loading her plate. She ate her food much faster than usual. Harry and Ron just sat there with bemused looks on their faces.

After she finished, she rushed off to the Library. Draco came in about ten minutes after her, allowing to the fact that he ate at his normal pace.

He saw that Hermione had a very excited look on her face. He had just the opposite. Draco was dreading what needed to be said.

"Hermione, I asked you here tonight because I have to tell you something that you have to know before we go any further in our relationship," he said in a serious tone.

Hermione stared at him with wide eyes. "What is it, Draco?" she asked confusedly, then recovered and took on a softer tone. "You don't have to keep any secrets from me."

Draco nodded. "I know, that's why we're here," he paused and sighed. "Okay, here goes. Hermione, my father has been training me since I turned eleven years old to become the next Dark Lord."

To be continued...
