- THANK YOU
She walked up to her and said, "Here is your book back. Thank you for letting me see it." Then Rosie turned and started to walk toward her first class of the day, "Oh, and I'll come and see you again Miss Weasley."
Ginny Weasley smiled at the young girl, "Good job, Rosie. You're going to be as smart as your parents. Out of curiosity, how did you figure it out?"
It was Rosie's turn to smile, "Well, I looked at those photos and then I did a little bit of research in the library."
Ginny laughed, "The library. Hermione's favorite place in the whole school. She and Ron would like you. They come to visit me when they're jobs let them. Ron's an Auror. I don't know if that's what he would've done, I think he felt a need to do it for Harry's memory. Hermione's doing research for the ministry until Professor Vector or Professor McGonagall retires. Hermione always wanted to teach here. They have a baby boy and a baby girl. Twins. Hannah and Harry. Named for our Harry of course."
Ginny neatly transfigured a piece of crumpled parchment into a comfy armchair next to hers and motioned for Rosie to sit down. Rosie curled deep into the squishy cushions and was glad it was a Saturday.
Ginny sighed and said suddenly, "Would you like to hear more stories about my Hogwarts days?"
Rosie smiled even wider than before, "I'd love too."
Ginny smiled, "I remember very vividly the summer Harry and I started going out. It was the summer before my 6th year, his 7th. We were at the Burrow and Harry was moping because he'd just broken up with Padma Patil, Parvati's twin sister. I was spending more and more time with him since Ron and Hermione were so wrapped up in each other. One day the four of us went swimming in a pond nearby and right away Ron and Hermione snuck of by them selves, so Harry and I were swimming alone. We had been having a splashing fight and were completely exhausted, so we sunbathed on the blanket. Harry finally started talking about the breakup and right in the middle of a sentence, he leaned over and kissed me."
Ginny was looking of into the distance as though the scene was playing on a stage only she could see. She quickly shook herself out of it and said, "I'll tell you about something a little less romantic."
She told Rosie stories for hours. She told about the Chamber of Secrets, Sirius, the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Ron and Hermione's arguments, the Order of the Phoenix, the Department of Mysteries, when Ron and Hermione finally got together, the final battles. Everything.
When Ginny finally stopped talking it was almost four o'clock, "Look at the time! I've kept you way too long."
She handed Rosie another worn book of photos, "I have books and books of these. Borrow them whenever you want. And come back."
Rosie was grinning, "I'll come back for stories every Saturday if you don't mind. And I'll come just to say hello, every time I get the chance. Thank you so much!"
As Rosie left the room she turned and smiled, "And I could tell because your hair is still the same red."
Ginny laughed. It was good to have a child around.
