Owl Love Medley

Ron needed to show Hermione how much he cared about her, but he just didn't know the best way to go about it. He asked Fred and George, hypothetically speaking of course, how they would let a girl they were very good friends with know that they wanted to be more than friends. The twins had exchanged knowing glances and asked why he didn't just blurt it out.

But this was didn't sound good enough to Ron. He wanted it to be something more special than simply saying it straight out. So he asked Harry, again hypothetically and for no particular reason, what he would do in this situation. Harry smiled to himself and suggested a romantic gesture of some kind. Perhaps something involving soft lights and romantic music.

Romantic music. Ron could do that. In fact, he could do better than that. He could provide the music himself. This plan was carried out one evening when he and Hermione were alone in the common room.

Ron: Love is a many-splendored thing. Love lift us up where we belong. All you need is love.

Hermione: Now that's just ridiculous...

Ron: All you need is love...

Hermione: People have basic needs...

Ron: All you need is love...

Hermione: Like food and shelter and--Ron, why are you singing?

Ron: And I will take you in my arms...And hold you right where you belong...'Til the day my life is through...This I promise you...

Hermione: If you're trying to serenade me, you're picking horrible songs.

Ron: 'Cause I want it all or nothing at all...There's nowhere left to fall...When you reach the bottom it's now or never...

Hermione: Oh, Ron, but what about Viktor?

Ron: Don't give loneliness a chance...Baby, listen to me when I say I will love you more than that...

Hermione: Could we at least quit it with the boy bands?

Ron: Okay, uh...

Hermione: Ron, you know we'd never work out.

Ron: When you go all I know is you're my favorite mistake...

Hermione: But Ron...
