Dahlia Potter and the Prophecy

16 year old Dahlia Potter laid down in her bed, completely worn out from her birthday party today.

"SURPRISE!!!" Everyone screamed as Dahlia stepped into her house.

"Oh, my god" She exclaimed as she looked around her. Her entire family was there. Her mother and Father, Hermione and Harry Potter, her godfather and his wife, Ron and Lavender Weasley, her godmother and husband, Ginny and Seamus Finnigan, plus all the other Weasley's and her grandparents on her mom's side.

She hugged everyone fiercely and spent the night talking and laughing and eating.

The last of the guests didn't leave until 10:30 and it was now 11:30. She changed into her nightclothes and climbed into bed. No sooner had she done that, there was a tap on the window. She jumped up and recognized the owl immediately, it was a beautiful tawny owl named Marit.

"Hey, Marit, I missed seeing you."

She untied the package attached to the owl's leg and gave it a treat. It gently nibbled her ear and flew to wait in the cage with Dahlia's owl, Gaia. Dahlia sat on the bed and quickly opened the package. On top was a letter

 

Dear Dahlia,

I'm sorry I didn't send this earlier, I knew you wouldn't want your parents to see you getting it. I miss you terribly. When are you going to Diagon Alley to shop for your supplies? Maybe we can meet there. If not I'll see you on the Hogwarts Express on Sept. 1.

Dahlia sighed and put the letter to the side. She then grabbed the package that came with the letter. She carefully opened it and smiled the biggest smile she had all night at the sight. There was a picture frame, with inside it, a picture of her and Josh last year by the lake one night. Dahlia, who was sitting in between Josh's legs, had long light brown hair which was bushy like her mother's, but she did get her father's piercing green eyes. Behind her with his arms wrapped around her was Josh, who had dark brown hair and deep chocolate eyes. She then noticed a small note also in the package, it read:

 

Dahlia.

This is a Secret Frame. To you, it will show the picture of you and me, but to everyone else, it will show a picture of your choice.

Dahlia put the frame on her bed when she noticed another small box. She grabbed it and gasped at what she saw. Inside was a beautiful diamond and emerald tennis bracelet. Also, inside the package was another note. (A.N.-He writes a lot of notes huh?)

 

Dahlia,

I saw this in a muggle store and immediately thought of your eyes. I hope you will wear it. I love you.

She walked over to her desk and put the jewelry box and laid the bracelet inside. She then grabbed some parchment and quill and wrote a response to Josh.

 

Dear Josh,

Thank you so much for the gifts! I love them! I'll try to meet you at Diagon Alley. I'll owl you when we go. I miss you too.

Dahlia tied the letter to Marit, and the owl flew out into the night. She then discarded the wrapping and climbed into bed and instantly fell asleep.
