CHAPTER ONE

First Date

Sunday

Today was great! I met THE hottest guy EVER today-yes, counting Harry! His name is Michael Corner. I met him in the library. I was looking for a table to sit at and there weren't any empty ones, so I sat at Michael's. He introduced himself and I immediately knew I would like him. For one thing, he has these big, chocolate colored eyes. I feel like I could just drink them up like Hot Cocoa! And his hair is a light brown color and OH MY GOSH he is so GORGEOUS! I can't believe how easy it was to talk to him, either...not like when I liked Harry. Gosh that was a NIGHTMARE! Anyway, maybe I'll see him again tomorrow...Oh gosh I guess I really DO like him!

I haven't seen Michael since Sunday. I think he's maybe avoiding me... I'll go up to him and say Hi tomorrow. What if he is? WHAT IF HE THINKS I'M REALLY YOUNG! Oh gosh Neville's just made all the furniture start flying around the room. Better go help him stop it before a prefect sees!

I TALKED TO HIM!!! We were out on the grounds and I can't even remember what we talked about but it was so cool and OH MY GOSH I'M IN LOVE! We got on really well and he is sooo sweet! I think he likes me, too... well I guess we'll see soon enough. He had this kinda cute half-smile on the whole time and we had no trouble talking about EVERYTHING! Have I mentioned how big his eyes are? I think I almost fell into them this afternoon...

This weekend we go to Hogsmeade. I can't wait! I'm sitting here in the library, just passing time. Man, I really feel like having a butterbeer. Mmmm I can almo- Oh my GOSH! Michael is walking over here be right back!

Wow... I just got asked to Hogsmeade by Michael...*sigh*...I think I'm in shock.

Oh my gosh. We just got back from Hogsmeade. I had a fantastic time! Michael and I went to this romantic café called Madam Puddifoots. There were tons of couples there. I thought I might have seen Ron and Hermione but I hope not...They would make a REALLY ugly couple! Not to be mean...And Oh my gosh here's the best part-HE KISSED ME!!!! It was on the way back to the school. He pulled me out of traffic into a deserted doorway. Then, HE KISSED ME!!!! I was very excited and nearly fainted! It was just a peck, mind you. Nothing serious. I guess I was right though...I'MIN LOVE!!!!

Gosh I've died and gone to heaven. Michael and I have been spending tons of time together, swapping stories and talking. Gosh I love talking to him...and he's such a great kisser! We haven't gotten to really serious kissing yet, don't worry. No tongue yet, NOT to say I'm not DYING of anticipation! Anyway, we walk through the halls together, just holding hands. It's really great. The only downside to this setup--my brothers would KILL me if they found out I was dating someone. Oh, well! Who really cares what they think, anyway?
