"Hello, Mother," said Ginny through gritted teeth as she opened the door.

"Why, hello, Ginny," she replied cheerfully.

"Grams!" said Gabby and Julian, running into the living room to greet her.

"Gabrielle," said Molly, hugging her. "And Julian." She hugged him as well.

"Do you have any presents for us?" asked Julian. Both Ginny and Gabby smacked him in the arm. But Molly chuckled.

"Of course I have gifts for you two!"

"Mother, you don't have to-"

"I mean, just because your mother can't just go out and buy you gifts because her job is quite unstable, doesn't mean your grandmother can't spoil her grandchildren!"

"Mother!" hissed Ginny.

"Yes, dear? Oh, where is Harry?" she asked, oblivious to the fact that he had left.

"Mother," Ginny started calmly. "Harry isn't uh..."

"Harry left!" burst Gabby. "He left us for another woman! There. Happy?" Molly stared at her granddaughter dubiously.

"Oh my," she gasped, covering her mouth. "Well, Ginny, you've got to get him back!"

"No, I don't!" yelled Ginny. Her eyes were dilated with fury. Her mother always disapproved of her job. She had wanted her to work for the Ministry. "Your grades were so high, you could have made it!" she always said. She didn't like that Ginny was an interior designer and that she only got paid when she had a client. The only things she approved of were Harry and her grandchildren.

"Yes you do! The kids need a father, too, especially Julian! He needs a male figure!"

"And he will HAVE a father, Harry will see him regularly, him and Gabby!"

"It's just not the same! Ginny, you've got to get him back with you!"

"No I don't!"

"Ginevra Weasley..."

"Molly!" yelled Arthur Weasley, coming through the door. "Leave her be, if she doesn't want to, she won't!"

"But Arthur," Molly said.

"Molly, shut up!" he said.

"But she's ruining her life!"

"No, she isn't! She's only doing what she thinks is right! If Harry is with another woman, Ginny should let him go, instead of keeping him here and making him miserable! She is doing the right thing!"

"But Arthur-"

"BUT NOTHING, MOLLY!" he roared. Ginny, Gabby, and Julian stared at the couple through the whole thing. "So, Ginny," he started again, his tone was calmer. "What do we have planned today?"

"Uh, well, Harry should be here any minute to pick up the kids again for the weekend," she told him.

"Oh, good." Right on cue, there was a knock on the door. Molly scurried over and opened the door.

"Harry, what a pleasure it is to see you, come in and have tea," she said, pushing him toward the dining table.

"Uh, hello, Molly. Sir," he said, looking at Arthur.

"Mother, I already made tea, it's in the kitchen," said Ginny, pointing to the kitchen.

"Oh that won't do," said Molly. "I'll make some new tea, how about that Harry?"

"Thank you, Molly," he said politely. Molly glowed.

"Just sit down and relax, Harry, dear." Arthur stepped forward.

"Hello Harry," said Arthur.

"Uh, Sir," Harry said awkwardly.

"Don't worry, Harry, I'm not angry with you." Arthur smiled warmly. Harry relaxed in his chair. "I better get the kids ready." He turned and left the room.

"Ah, yes, Harry, here is your tea, and some crumpets!" offered Molly motherly.

"Thank you, Molly, you sure know how to take care of me," Harry said politely. Ginny scoffed.

"Oh, please Harry, she's not your mother-in-law anymore, so you can stop kissing up," she said coldly.

"Ginny, stop-" Harry started, but he was cut off.

"Yes, what is this, Harry is gone? Don't you think you should come back?" Molly asked him. "For the kids." Harry was about to answer but he was once again cut off.

"Mother, stop pestering him, if he wants to abandon us for a teenager-slut in a short skirt, that's his decision, so stay out of it!" Ginny fumed.

"Candy is not a teenager-slut, she happens to be very intellectual and mature and is a great person to talk to!" argued Harry.

"Oh, yes, and I'm sure there's a great deal of talking while she's blowing you!" Ginny retorted. Harry turned an unattractive shade of green.

"That's none of your business!"

"You see," began Molly, trying to be the mediator. "Why don't we talk this out? And Harry, maybe you'll find you don't want to leave your wife."

"What is with this with your distorted dream of us playing happy family? Life is not perfect so deal with it. Harry is gone. GONE!" yelled Ginny.

"I think I should leave," Harry said softly. "And Molly, I'm sorry, you had to see me like this."

"Honestly, Harry, it's not like you actually liked my mother anyway, you said you hated her and her disgusting tea!" Ginny sniffed.

"I DID NOT!" Harry denied. "Kids? We're leaving now!" Gabby and Julian rushed into the living room. Gabby gave Ginny a questioning look as they left. Ginny shrugged. She didn't want to deal with this, especially with her mother there, criticizing her every move. Besides she had a good excuse, she had a job and needed to see her client.

"Mother, I'm off now, stay here, I'm going to meet a client," said Ginny dejectedly.

"Client? Ginny when are going to get a new-"

"Shut up, mum!" said Ginny, as she stormed out of the house with her briefcase. She couldn't believe her mother. How could she want her to get back with Harry after she'd known what he had done? How could she expect her to forgive Harry and pretend to love him and play happy families if she knew about Candy? Ginny didn't want to think about it; she had too many things on her mind to burst out on her client.

"Sorry I'm late, Mr. Zabini," she said, still trying to catch her breath after all that running.

"No problem, and please, call me Blaise," he said warmly. "Please, sit. Here are the floor plans of the house," he said, pulling out a roll of paper from underneath his desk. "Um, it's a summer home, so I thought bright-ish colors would be okay."

"M-hm," agreed Ginny vacantly, twirling her hair on her fingers. She tried to pay attention, but she had too much on her mind.

"Missus Weasley?" Ginny's head snapped up immediately, she looked offended. "Oh, I'm sorry, you're not married?" he asked.

"Huh, no, not anymore," she explained, trying not to get too detailed, in case he didn't want to hear it.

"What happened? Oh-sorry, if don't want to tell me." Well he asked to hear it...

"He...left me for another woman," Ginny explained.

"I'm sorry," he said softly. "Do you have kids?"

"Uh, yes, two."

"How old?" Ginny looked at him peculiarly, but she answered his questions.

"Fourteen and eleven, why?"

"Well, do you let them see her?" Blaise asked carefully.

"Well, no!" Ginny eyed him curiously. "Do you think I should?" Ginny wouldn't even be asking him for his opinion if he didn't sound like he knew what he was saying.

"It depends," he said knowingly. "You could keep them with you, or you could use them as your ultimate weapon." This piqued Ginny's interest; Blaise obviously knew what he was dealing with, even though it was none of his business.

"Go on," she said curiously.

"Well, how old is this woman?"

"Nineteen."

"Okay, then-nineteen?" Ginny nodded. "Well, she's probably too young to be responsible for two kids, she'll still be into drinking and partying. I know she's nineteen, but it's not too hard these days to sneak some booze to a house party. But with the kids being there, she'll have to suppress that habit. But she'll miss it, and when she has to sleep off a hangover, your kids will be therefore the weekend to play with her.

"Then the arguments will start, she'll complain that the kids are over there too much. But your husband will say it's because he loves them being there, and if she truly loved him, she'll make the effort to be nice to them." His eyes shone at the brilliance of it. Ginny nodded, she was impressed.

"Never thought about that way," said Ginny brightly.

"Maybe you should."
