Harry Potter and the Lost Message of Tangathar
Rosanna Muntare walked into the Great Hall. Her long blonde hair was being stared at by the whole of the sixth year boys at the Gryffindor table where she sat. She looked at two of them who were sitting next two each other. They saw her look at them, and they blushed, then a frizzy haired girl elbowed one, and looked at the other with disgust.
The first years started to enter, and the sorting hat started to sing
Am the sorting hat, most old you see
I sat upon the best and darkest of thee
You belong somewhere
And somewhere I will put
You could be clean as soap
Or dirtier than soot
Gryffindor has courage
Slytherin desire power
Ravenclaw the cleverest
But it's Hufflepuff's great hour
One of these
Unto you I will pitch
It's what you know I'll put you
To fit your little niche
The song ended. The room filled with applause, but it soon subsided when Professor McGonagall started calling names.
"Genevieve Watson"
"Ravenclaw!" Shouted the sorting hat, as applause rung into the room again.
Rosanna looked over at the boys who stared at her earlier. One of their attentions was toward the first years, but the other's eyes were Rosanna's. Rosanna smiled. The boy motioned for her to switch spots with a boy next him, Neville, so she got up and switched with him, as Lara Slithe became a Slytherin.
"I'm Ron Weasley. What's your name?"
"Rosanna Muntare."
Ron tapped Harry on the shoulder, and said to him, "That's Rosie Muntare..." His eyes drifted back to Rosanna.
"You just called me Rosie."
"Did I?"
"Yes. My mum called me that when I was little."
"No kidding?"
Ron smiled. Hermione glared at Ron, and she cleared her throat.
"Oh yeah, that's Hermione...and Harry..." Ron said dully.
"Ooh, the feast has begun already!" Rosanna looked excitedly down at her plate. She starting eating and Ron followed her lead. Some time after that, the feast had ended, and people were starting to leave.
As Rosanna got up, someone behind her tapped her. She turned around; it was Draco Malfoy.
"Excuse me, beautiful, but I believe we haven't met. I'm Draco Malfoy, and you are?"
"Not interested." She walked off leaving Ron, Harry, and Hermione to catch up with her. She soon got up to the portrait of The Fat Lady.
"Password?" asked the Fat Lady.
"Cinder Willow"
The portrait opened, and Rosanna walked inside. The lively common room came to a silence when Rosanna walked in. She turned around, to look at Ron, "Come on!" They hurried outside of the common room, heading towards the prefects bathroom.
They looked behind them and Herry and Hermione were hurrying to catch up with them. They all stopped in front of the bathroom.
"Powderpuff" Rosanna said very calmly. The door opened, and they all went inside. They looked at Rosanna.
"Hey, if your friends with a prefect, then you got it covered."
Harry thought this was all too familiar. He remembered in his fourth year Cedric Diggory had helped him on his Egg for the Triwizard Tournament. Ron and Hermione gazed around the room, while Rosanna locked the door.
"Who's up for a swim?" Rosanna looked at them.
"I'm not!" Hermione shouted. She left the room.
"What about you, Harry?"
He shook his head, and left also.
"Well, I guess it leaves me and you then, Ron...hold on a sec..." Rosanna disappeared behind a curtain in the corner. A few minutes later, she slid the curtain slowly, revealing her (revealing) pink bikini she was wearing.
"I suggest you change into your trunks then, I kind of took it out of your bag at King's Cross..."
She threw navy blue swimming trunks at Ron's head, and Ron soon disappeared behind a curtain as well. He came out, and looked at Rosanna. She was sitting in the tub with all assortments of bubbles and scents.
Ron gulped. He stepped in to the warm foam. He slowly slid down, and closed his eyes. About an hour passed.
"Well, we best get back to the Common Room..."
"Yeah..."
"You know, Ron...It was nice meeting you. You're a very fun-loving friend!"
The next morning at breakfast down in the Great Hall all was a buzz.
Harry was tired of listening on to gossip. Hermione, Rosanna, Harry, and Ron went back to the empty common room. Harry claimed he was tired, and should rest. Hermione wanted to study in the library.
Ron and Rosie sat at the table, looking at the blank fireplace. Finally, Ron talked, "Well, I better go check up on Harry...and see what he's up to..."
"Okay."
Ron left for the boy's dormitories, and he saw Harry sitting on his bed, looking at a piece of paper.
"What's that?"
"I dunno, but it looks like a letter of some kind..."
"Where'd you get it?"
"...It was odd...the breeze just blew it in while I was sitting here...I can't read it either...it's in a different language..."
"Oh...Maybe Rosanna would know what language it is. She told me last night that she knew several."
"Go get her, then.
Ron went to the boy's dormitory door, and saw Rosie still sitting at the table, "Come here for a bit, Rosie, will ya?"
Rosie came up to the doorway of the room.
"No one's here to get you into trouble if you come in here, Harry wants to ask you something."
Rosie walked over to Harry and sat down beside him on the bed.
"W-what's that, H-Harry?"
"It looks like a letter...but it's in another language..."
"Let m-me see that t-then..."
Rosie took the parchment, and looked at it for a bit.
"I know what this is," she giggled, "This must be very old..."
Harry looked at Rosie, "What is it?"
"It's a love letter...it's something about one of the World Wars...I can't read it that much...it's pretty blurry...wait a second, I think I've got it!"
"What language is it in?"
"Swedish...want me to read it aloud for you? I think I deciphered it..."
"Sure."
Ron spoke again, "You guys, I'm going to go to the library to see what Hermione's up to."
Harry and Rosie nodded, and Ron left.
"Go on..." Harry said.
"I found an island when I was in the Muggle Navy, just off of Sweden. I found some inscriptions that said the island was called Tangathar. I found half of a slate in an old temple. I need the other half so I can find out what their last message was, though an excavator probably took it in the twenties. Klark Bagge
"That's odd..." Harry said.
Rosie nodded and put the letter on Harry's bedside table. "You know Harry, I-I get really nervous around you..."
"I get nervous around you too, Rosie..."
"You see...Ron is a really great guy, but he's more of a friend but you...you on the other hand..."
"Rosie...ever since I saw you walk in the Great Hall...I felt something..."
"I like you...a lot, Harry..." Before Harry knew what he was doing, he grabbed Rosie in his arms and kissed her. A few moments passed, and they stopped. Rosie looked deep into Harry's eyes...and he kissed her again, making them fall back onto Harry's bed. Harry knew he had fallen deep for this girl, this Rosie.
They did not hear the door creak open. None other than Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Seamus Finnigan had walked in on them.
The three of them stared at the two on the bed, but the two on the bed carried on as nothing has happened.
"Bloody Hell!" shouted Ron. Rosie and Harry stopped and looked at the doorway. "I came back up here with Neville and Seamus because I told them about the letter, and they wanted to see it!"
Harry looked at his bedside table where the letter was neatly folded, "Well...the letter's right there..." He said, trying to catch up with his breath.
"This isn't a joke! This is our room too, so why don't you two do whatever you have to do, we'll be waiting in the common room, and...come out when you're ready..."
The intruders left the boys dormitory. They both got up off the bed, and headed for the door; they walked to the common room; Ron was on a couch looking furious.
The common room was more crowded. Harry went up to Ron and said, "The room is yours..."
"Let's go back to the Great Hall, Harry."
"Okay..."
They walked down to the Great Hall, the teachers and a lot of people were still down there. Draco was down there. He walked slowly over to Rosie. "So, gorgeous...are you seeing anybody?"
"As a matter of fact, yes, and you're right by him."
"Potter? No, Rosie, you're lying..."
The room drew their attention to the small group because of Draco's loud voice, it also got all the teachers attention too, but Rosie, Harry, neither Draco notice anybody was looking at them.
Rosie smiled, "Would I be lying if I did this..." Rosie grabbed Harry by the head and kissed him, and of course everybody saw, even the teachers.
Draco was in complete shock. Professor Dumbledore stood up after a few seconds.
"Miss Muntare..." Rosie stopped and looked up at Dumbledore.
"Thank you."
"Oh...um...sorry Professor Dumbledore..."
"Quite alright..." He sat down.
Draco started yelling over to all the teachers, "Shouldn't they get points taken?"
"This was the first time it has happened, Mr. Malfoy, but I understand where you are coming from. If they didn't follow my directions, I would have." Dumbledore looked over to Rosie and Harry, and they nodded.
Just as Harry and Rosie were about to leave, to go take a walk, Neville, Seamus and Ron came in. Rosie and Harry joined hands, and went away.
"So Potter's got a girlfriend...we'll see about that..."
