This is one of the ficlets that fit into the Epilogue of my novel, "The Time of Destiny" (see it and it's prequel, "The Refiner's Fire" in Schnoogle). Albus Dumbledore has some confessions to make, ones that will do no good to Severus's respect and loyalty to him. In the end, Severus chooses his son over his position as a spy, having to go hiding.
