For quite some time, she is able to manage on her own, but by the end, Asenath must team up with her prisoners to face the horrors of the Labyrinth, to fight both external and internal demons. With other forces at play, incuding the haunting memories of Asenath's childhood, she begins to doubt herself, her master, and her side.
