Long, white hands issued from its black sleeves....Voldemort reached into his robes and grasped his wand. He pulled out it into sight and pointed it threateningly at Snape's chest.... 'It takes only one spell, Severus,' he said menacingly, 'I believe you know the two words.'...'Ah, there you have it, Severus,' he said as he stared down at Snape. 'Terrible thing when someone denies you their friendship, isn't it?'

Draco has a plan, and it has led him to a place he never imagined he would venture. But if there is one thing he has learnt over the past two years, it is the price of hesitation.

"Remus observes that Draco smiles differently when away from his classmates - secretive pleasure, as if savouring some rich and costly sweet, rather than smug malice. Neither is endearing."

After all, Remus had transformed last night, and he hadn’t become the harmless wolf he normally turned into. He had actually become quite vicious. He had thrown Sirius down the hill, for God’s sake. What would have happened if he had done something to Harry, Ron, or Hermione? Come to think of it, he thought as he stepped into his office, he nearly had. As he began packing his things, he recalled last night, though he could only remember bits and pieces of what happened after he transformed.

Sometimes the ending isn't as good as it seems.

So he writes in his diary, all the thoughts and feelings he went through before, during and after the fatal fight at the Ministry. He feels bitter, angry and guilty. But gradually he'll get over Sirius', and be able to carry on his life again just like his friends would have wanted.

This is a story about the birth of Tom Riddle and the death of his evil father. It goes into much more detail than the book.
